Protection of copyright, licences and confidentiality
The Old Edinburgh Club wishes to ensure that content we make available does not infringe any person’s intellectual property rights or other relevant laws.
If you believe that any of our material is in breach of copyright laws, image licensing or confidentiality; contains sensitive personal data or includes content that may be regarded as defamatory, please contact us by email (info@oldedinburghclub.org.uk), providing:
1. Your contact details
2. The full details of the material
3. The exact URL where you found the material
4. If the request relates to copyright, provide proof that you are the rights holder and a statement that, under penalty of perjury, you are the rights holder or are an authorised representative.
5. The reason for your request including but not limited to copyright law, privacy laws, data protection, defamation, etc.
Upon receipt, we will acknowledge your approach. We will remove the content that is the subject of the claim and investigate, consulting appropriate people (including the author, if possible).
We will inform you of the conclusion to our investigation. If we uphold your claim, this may involve the permanent removal of the content concerned.
